没有代币的区块链
如果不是一个转账网络、如果不需要交易功能、如果不需要锚定功能，一个区块链网络可以不需要代币。
将区块链作为一个金融网络，设置一个代币，作为一个全局变量，是非常有用的。但，并非所有的区块链都需要金融功能，所以，一些区块链没必要设置代币。没有代币的区块链，可以省却无数金融监管的烦恼，可以畅快的发挥新技术的潜力。
最近，bytemaster展开了这个话题：
I am looking for any and all protocols that do not have a core token. Any help doing this research would be appreciated(1).
So far I have Hyperledger(2) and Interledger（3） and perhaps Tao chain.

Hyperledger是一个开源平台，允许任何人发行个人货币。Hyperledger开源支付协议由来自香港的Daniel Feichtinger首先创立，他是Hyperledger的核心开发者以及分布式共识机制的发明者。Hyperledger的另一成员Dan O’Prey作为联合创始人，在今年4月加入。在此之前，O’Prey创立了一家可视化云计算工具麦德云，公司Base在北京，帮助开发者更方便地使用Amazon AWS，早期获得红杉资本150万美元融资，O’Prey三个月前从CEO位置离职。O’Prey加入Hyperledger，则是负责市场和商业拓展相关工作。目前，Hyperledger的服务器和客户端代码已经上传到GitHub上。
Hyperledger支付协议的提出，很大程度上受到Ripple的影响。在Hyperledger网站问答页面末端，团队表示，可以把Hyperledger看做Ripple的替代方案或者补充体系。

本周，根据Ripple Labs官方表示，该公司已正式改名为 Ripple 。意思是指其产品，现已走出了实验室，并准备启用。
作为虚拟货币行业，获得融资较多的初创公司之一，Ripple可以说是第一个将重心放到分布式账本应用的公司，在2012年的时候，该公司提出了一种偏离比特币共识的替代性账本，并创造了他们自己的代币瑞波币（XRP）。
日前，Ripple已经提出了一项 Interledger 协议（ILP），其目标是作为所有类型账本的仲裁器，无论是分布式的，还是那些传统的中心化替代账本。
Ripple首席技术官斯蒂芬·托马斯（Stefan Thomas）解释说，ILP本身并不是一个账本，它并不寻求任何的共识。相反，它提供了一个顶层加密托管系统，在称之为“连接者”的中介机构的帮助下，可以让资金在各账本之间进行流动。
此外，ILP也没有原生代币，因此，操作该协议的个体账本，仍然可以使用它们自己的原生代币。托马斯介绍说，这种互操作性解决了特定支付网络的问题。

Hyperledger is just marketing on top of the PBFT algorithm. Not novel(新奇的) in terms of consensus systems.
有代币的区块链和无代币的区块链，进行配合工作的话，犹如：恒星与行星的关系。这种关系和比特币与侧链的关系不同，它们是双方都有代币，只是，母子代币的关系。行星链的创新，对于区块链生态的建设具有极大的意义。传统企业可以很方便的定制自己的链，这必将激活企业用链市场。
企业可以在行星链上完成自己的业务逻辑，在发生金融业务时切换到比特股的恒星链上。企业的行星链业务越繁忙，其恒星链上的资产价值就越高。
