Last trading week was the most volatile in recent times.On the night of July 11-12, Bitcoin updated its historical maximum of the price on the BTC/USD pair and crossed the mark $3000. However, by Thursday, June 15, Bitcoin’s price had fallen to the level of $2050, having fallen in price since the beginning of the week by almost a third and by 20% per day. A sharp drop in the cost of bitcoin after the historic recovery occurred against the backdrop of Bitmain’s statement about the intention to launch an alternative protocol SegWit2x. Also an additional wave of panic in the market was caused by the fact that the popular Coinbase exchange went offline on Monday evening and was unavailable for a long time.

By the end of the week, the cost of Bitcoin after correction has returned to $2500.
